Tulare Mayor Jose Sigala Endorses Bobby Bliatout For Congress
“Bliatout Is Most Qualified Person To Represent Our Communities And Values In Congress.”
June 11, 2019 — Tulare, Calif. — Today, Tulare Mayor Jose Sigala announced his support for Bobby Bliatout for Congress in the 22nd Congressional District. “Bobby is the most qualified candidates for Congress. He is a proven health care and community leader who has always demonstrated the ability to bring people together and build consensus. I proudly announcement my endorsement for him today and encourage all Democrats to rally behind Bobby in this important election,” said Sigala
In December of 2018, the Tulare City Council made history when they elected Sigala to become the city’s first Latino Mayor. “I am honored to have the support of one of the Central Valley’s most effective local leaders. Receiving his endorsement today sends a clear message that this election will be about the communities that makeup the 22nd Congressional District. Local support is crucial to building a successful campaign and I am truly thankful that Mayor Sigala found me to be the best candidate to flip the 22nd Congressional District blue” said Bliatout.
“Bobby has a strong family background. He is the son of Hmong refugees. Bobby has overcome many challenges including discrimination against the Hmong and antagonistic sentiments that many had about the Vietnam War. Still, Bobby has persisted and become a non-profit health care leader, successful businessman, and a community leader. And finally, Bobby is good person and he is dedicated to the Central Valley. If he’s elected to Congress, we can all trust he will represent and fight for the best values of our Democratic Party and of the Central Valley” concluded Sigala.
